Troubleshooting
Catherine isn't responding
Check your messaging app Make sure your internet connection is working and your messaging app is sending messages normally. Try sending a message to someone else to confirm.
She might be working on something If Catherine is in the middle of a complex task (research, document creation, code deployment), she may take a moment to respond. Send a follow-up message like "Are you there?" and she'll give you a status update.
Try a different channel If one messaging app isn't working, try another connected channel. Catherine is available across all your connected apps.
Contact support If Catherine is completely unresponsive across all channels, contact [email protected].
Catherine did something wrong
Correct her Tell her what went wrong and what the right answer or action is:
"That email shouldn't have gone to Dave, it should have gone to Sarah"
"The meeting was supposed to be 30 minutes, not an hour"
She'll fix the mistake and remember the correction.
Adjust her permissions If Catherine acted too independently for your comfort, adjust her autonomy level:
"From now on, always show me emails before you send them" "Don't reschedule meetings without asking me first"
Catherine forgot something
Remind her If she seems to have forgotten something you told her, just tell her again:
"Remember — Dave's email is [email protected], not the gmail one"
She'll update her memory and confirm.
Check what she knows Ask her to show you what she remembers:
"What do you know about the Henderson project?"
If information is missing, add it back.
Email issues
Catherine can't access my email Your email connection may need to be re-authorised. Contact support or ask Catherine: "Can you check if you still have access to my email?"
Emails aren't being sent Catherine may be in draft-and-approve mode. Check: "Are you waiting for me to approve any emails?"
Calendar issues
Wrong timezone Tell Catherine your timezone: "I'm in Perth, Australia — AWST". She'll adjust all scheduling accordingly.
Double-booked Catherine checks for conflicts before booking, but if something was added outside her system, she may not catch it. Tell her: "Check my calendar for conflicts this week".
Smart home issues
Device not responding The device may be offline or the integration may need reconnecting. Ask Catherine: "Is the living room light connected?"
Wrong device If Catherine controls the wrong device, clarify: "When I say 'bedroom lights,' I mean the main bedroom, not the spare room". She'll update her mapping.
