Tasks and reminders

Catherine tracks what needs to get done and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. You don't need a separate task app — just tell her what you need and when.

Creating tasks

Tell Catherine what needs doing:

  • "Remind me to call the electrician tomorrow at 9am"

  • "Follow up with Dave about the invoice in 3 days"

  • "Check in with me every Monday morning about the week's priorities"

She'll confirm the task and make sure it happens.

One-time reminders

For something that needs to happen once:

  • "Remind me to submit the BAS by the 28th"

  • "Ping me at 3pm to leave for the appointment"

  • "Tomorrow morning, send me a summary of yesterday's emails"

Catherine fires the reminder at the right time, in the channel you're using. If you're on WhatsApp, the reminder comes through WhatsApp.

Recurring tasks

For things that repeat:

  • "Every Friday at 5pm, send me a weekly summary of what we accomplished"

  • "Check my inbox every morning at 8am and flag anything urgent"

  • "On the first of every month, remind me to review expenses"

She keeps running these until you tell her to stop.

Following up on your behalf

Catherine doesn't just remind you — she can follow up for you:

  • "If Dave hasn't replied to the invoice email by Thursday, send him a follow-up"

  • "Check if the delivery confirmation comes in by EOD, and let me know if it doesn't"

She monitors, acts, and reports back.

Checking your tasks

Ask Catherine what's on your plate:

  • "What do I have coming up this week?"

  • "What reminders are set for today?"

  • "Show me all my recurring tasks"

She'll give you a clear list.

Cancelling or changing tasks

  • "Cancel the Friday summary — I don't need it anymore"

  • "Move the electrician reminder to Wednesday instead"

  • "Change the weekly check-in to every two weeks"

She confirms the change and adjusts.

How tasks differ from calendar events

Tasks are things Catherine tracks and acts on — reminders, follow-ups, recurring checks.

Calendar events are time-blocked appointments that go on your Google Calendar, Outlook, or wherever you manage your schedule.

Catherine manages both, and they work together. If you say "Schedule a meeting with Dave and remind me to prep for it the night before," she'll create the calendar event and set the reminder separately.
