Email management

Catherine reads your email like you would — except she does it faster, never misses anything, and actually follows up.

Connecting your email

Catherine works with Gmail and Google Workspace. Once connected, she can:

  • Read incoming emails

  • Draft and send replies

  • Label, archive, and organise messages

  • Flag urgent items for your attention

Note: Catherine only accesses your email with your explicit permission. You control what she can read, write, and send.

What she does with your inbox

Triage Ask Catherine to go through your inbox and she'll sort it:

  • Urgent items that need your response

  • FYI items you should see but don't need to act on

  • Noise that can be archived or ignored

"Check my email and tell me what needs my attention"

Drafting replies Catherine writes emails in your voice. She learns your tone, your style, and your sign-off preferences:

"Reply to Sarah's email — confirm the meeting time and ask if she needs parking info"

She'll draft it and either send immediately or show you for approval, depending on your standing instructions.

Following up Catherine tracks emails that need responses and follows up automatically:

"If the supplier doesn't reply by Thursday, send a polite follow-up"

Monitoring for specific things Set up standing watches:

"Let me know whenever I get an email from anyone at @acme.com" "Flag any email mentioning 'invoice' or 'payment'"

Email permissions

You decide how much autonomy Catherine has:

  • Read only — She reads and summarises, but never sends

  • Draft and approve — She writes replies, you review before sending

  • Full autonomy — She reads, replies, and follows up on routine emails without asking

You can change these at any time: "From now on, always show me client emails before sending"
